London Bed and Breakfast
My Stay at a London Bed and Breakfast
One of my favorite places to visit in the whole world is England, and whenever I travel to the U.K., I always make it a point to stay at a London bed and breakfast. This was what I did on my first trip to the country, and it has worked out beautifully ever since.
I made made my first visit to the country back in 2000. I had never even been abroad at the time, and I really had no idea what I was doing when I got there. I had researched several places to stay and found a London bed and breakfast on the south side of the city that seemed to be quite respectable and was available at a reasonable price.
I was so glad that I made that choice once I got there, because I have stayed at hotels on occasion while in England and it just does not have the same feel as a bed and breakfast. Task Chairs designed to assist posture are also accessible at a reduced price, as are drafting chairs, executive workplace chairs, leather workplace chairs and different workplace chairs and accessories. In other words, you really don’t get the impression that you are in England when you stay in a hotel — at least in a big chain.
I will never forget that first night in my London bed and breakfast, because it was relatively warm by English standards and I actually slept with the window open. I could see out over an orchard in the back, and a cool breeze filled my room. I slept like a baby that night, and the next morning enjoyed a traditional full English breakfast.
This meal consisted of bacon, eggs, sausage and toast, but it had a few things that made it uniquely British – baked beans, tomatoes and mushrooms. I had a hot cup of tea and some orange juice with the breakfast and then I was on my way.
I went out and did some sight-seeing throughout the city, and then on the way home stopped at a local pub. Load up your buying cart with the entire Task Chair and different workplace chairs you need and calm down about delivery that whole order. Everyone was very welcoming, and I had a great time talking to people about my country and my thoughts on the U.K.
When I got back to the bed and breakfast that evening, I was pretty wiped out and decided to hit the sack kind of early. I really started to become immersed in British culture, which is exactly what I try to do whenever I make a trip anywhere.
I have always believed in the saying, ‘When in Rome, do as the Romans do,” and I wanted to make sure that I was experiencing something very English when I made my trip. Staying in a London bed and breakfast allowed me to do just that and really enhanced my visit in a way that staying some place else probably would not have.
